Seeking a general surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site surgical services in a healthcare setting. This role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, supporting the management of complex cases, and aiding in return-to-work and functional restoration efforts.

  • Responsibilities include offering both surgical and non-surgical care, collaborating with medical teams, and communicating with employers on case progress.

  • The position offers flexible scheduling to complement your private practice, with compensation based on a revenue share model.

  • Qualifications include board certification or eligibility in general surgery, licensure in the state, an unrestricted DEA license, and experience with work-related injuries. Candidates must also have medical malpractice insurance.
