Job Description

Seeking a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) to lead neonatal resuscitation, develop care plans for NICU patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 24/7 Neonatology department.

Responsibilities include managing neonatal care, performing assessments, initiating resuscitations, prescribing treatments, and supporting family-centered care. The role involves both clinical duties and non-clinical activities such as quality improvement, education, and mentorship.

Required qualifications:

  • Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with appropriate certification.
  • Unrestricted licensure, DEA registration, and BLS certification; ACLS if practicing sedation.
  • Minimum two years neonatal ICU experience in a level III nursery, proficiency with EMR, and team collaboration skills.

  • Preferred qualifications include Oregon licensure, experience in neonatal transport, and Epic EMR familiarity. The position offers a full-time schedule with shift work, no formal on-call duties, and requires physical ability to perform clinical tasks. The provider will uphold organizational values, adhere to policies, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives.
