We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care, complementing your current practice. This role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, focusing on medically complex cases, return-to-work, and functional restoration. You will collaborate with medical and therapy providers, offer surgical and non-surgical services for orthopedic injuries, and engage in case management with employers.
Responsibilities include flexible scheduling, typically half a day per week or biweekly, with compensation based on a revenue share model. Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in your state, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
