The General Anesthesiologist position in Gastonia, NC offers a full-time, exempt role with options for 2-year partnership or daytime schedule, reporting to the Gastonia Division.

Responsibilities include providing anesthesia at local hospitals, conducting patient evaluations, developing anesthesia plans, and supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists. The role involves a variety of cases, including cardiac surgeries (CABG, valves, TAVRs, LVADs) and general outpatient procedures across multiple specialties.

The ideal candidate has a medical degree, BC/BE in anesthesiology, at least 3 years of experience, strong regional skills, and a cardiothoracic fellowship. Compensation includes call duties (1 in 10), with a schedule emphasizing work-life balance (no nights/weekends). Key skills include excellent communication, patient safety focus, and teamwork.
