Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Primary Care Physician for a correctional facility in Sacramento.
Provide comprehensive primary care, including episodic, chronic, dermatology, preventive, orthopedics, and routine services. Manage urgent/emergent cases such as trauma, fractures, chest pain, asthma, and overdoses. Offer ongoing treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, HIV, and pulmonary illnesses. Must hold an unrestricted California MD or DO license, be board-certified in Family, Internal, or Emergency Medicine, and have completed residency. Correctional or ER experience preferred. Full-time or Per Diem options available. Pay is $185/hour, with professional liability insurance provided at no cost.
Referral bonus: $1,500 per physician referral who completes 4 weeks. Location: Sacramento, CA 95830. Relocation required; travel up to 25% preferred.
