Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) – Stopwatch Urgent Care, Phenix City AL

Job Description

Seeking a full-time Urgent Care Physician at our Phenix City clinic on the Alabama-Georgia border.

Expect a rotating 3-4 schedule (three 12-hour shifts one week, four the next), with competitive pay, no on-call duties, and a top-rated benefits package.

As the primary onsite physician, you’ll manage acute and episodic care independently, supported by clinical protocols, a dedicated team, and network resources. Onboarding includes a structured orientation.

**Clinical Responsibilities:** Assess, diagnose, treat, perform procedures, order tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients.

**Practice Environment:** Fully equipped clinics, electronic records, established workflows, with an average of 3-4 patients per hour.

**Schedule:** Full-time, rotating shifts, weekends, with advance scheduling and optional additional shifts with overtime pay.

**Qualifications:** MD or DO licensed in Alabama, BC/BE in Family, Emergency, or Internal Medicine, with current BLS/ACLS. Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
