Job Description
This full-time mental health counselor position involves providing outpatient services, assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up for clients with mental health issues.
Responsibilities include individual, group, and family counseling, collaboration with community programs, conducting training and prevention activities, and facilitating support groups. Maintains client records per legal and professional standards, utilizes assessment tools, and adheres to privacy laws. Requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and at least 2 years of post-graduate experience with demonstrated counseling skills. Position involves office work, local travel, and potential after-hours work, including on-call duties.
