Hand Surgeon Independent 1099

Job Description

Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time on-site role.

Responsibilities include treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, focusing on medically complex cases, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. The role involves case management, communication with employers, and making a positive impact on patient recovery.

Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the state, MD or DO graduation from an accredited program, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery.

Compensation is based on a revenue share model, with flexible scheduling to complement existing practice. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
