Job Description
This full-time onsite Radiologist position involves providing specialized radiology services at a VA medical facility. Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology, hold an active unrestricted medical license in the U.S., and have proficiency across various imaging modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures. The role includes clinical duties (approx. 95%) such as interpreting imaging studies, consulting with physicians, and managing post-procedure follow-ups, along with administrative tasks (approx. 5%) like quality improvement activities and peer reviews. The schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call coverage evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring response within 15 minutes by phone and onsite within 60 minutes if needed. Candidates must meet VA credentialing requirements and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and experience in multiple radiology subspecialties.
