Job Description
Seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role. This position involves treating patients on-site for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, expediting return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers on orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Candidates must have medical malpractice insurance.
