Job Description

This full-time mental health counselor position involves providing outpatient counseling, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients with mental health issues.

  • Responsibilities include individual, group, and family therapy, collaborating with community programs, and conducting mental health screenings and assessments.
  • Coordinate community training and support groups on topics like domestic violence, grief, and problem gambling.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhere to privacy laws, and participate in ongoing training.
  • Work primarily in an office environment with local travel and some outside business hours; may be on-call.

  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field; licensed or eligible with 2+ years of experience in counseling; proficient in assessment tools and working with diverse populations.
