Job Description
Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site services for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, facilitating return to work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to deliver both surgical and non-surgical treatments for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management is also required.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, unrestricted DEA license, and Board Certification or Eligibility in Hand Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
