Job Description

This full-time mental health counselor position involves providing outpatient counseling, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients with mental health issues.

Responsibilities include conducting individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating with community agencies, leading support and prevention groups, maintaining records, and adhering to privacy laws.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Licensed or certified with at least 2 years of post-graduate counseling experience
  • Ability to conduct mental health assessments, screenings, and interventions, including suicidal and homicidal evaluations
  • Experience working collaboratively within systems and community outreach

  • Physical demands include lifting up to 20 pounds and extended periods of sitting and computer work.
