Bank Senior Pharmacist (Band 8a equivalent)

Job Description

We are seeking a senior pharmacist to provide advanced clinical, governance, and operational pharmacy leadership across nationwide clinics.

Key responsibilities include overseeing medicines procurement and supply governance, ensuring regulatory compliance with MHRA and GPhC standards, leading clinical audits and patient safety initiatives, and delivering medicines management education to staff.

The role involves policy development, strategic input on pharmaceutical services, and offering expert advice on contract and service management. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, expertise in governance and procurement, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, GPhC registration, and at least 5 years of relevant experience in medicines procurement, governance, and clinical leadership.
