Job Description

The Senior Orthotist role in Staffordshire offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to deliver high-quality patient care across a diverse caseload.

  • Provide expert clinical assessments, prescriptions, fittings, and treatment plans independently within established protocols.
  • Lead service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and contribute to protocol development and service evaluations.
  • Act as a clinical resource, offering guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleagues, students, and graduates.
  • Support multidisciplinary decision-making, deliver training, and engage in CPD activities to maintain expertise.
  • Lead audits, research, and service evaluations to enhance patient outcomes.


  • Essential skills include strong communication, leadership in a clinical environment, and experience in service development. Qualifications required are a BSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics and HCPC registration. The role offers competitive salary, benefits, and development opportunities.
