Job Description
We are seeking a senior pharmacist to lead clinical, governance, and operational pharmacy functions across multiple clinics nationwide.
Provide expert oversight of medicines procurement, ensuring cost-effective, evidence-based sourcing and supply resilience. Manage regulatory compliance by reviewing MHRA alerts, drug safety updates, and recalls, maintaining audit-ready documentation. Lead clinical audits, support medication safety initiatives, and contribute to governance reviews to enhance patient safety. Deliver medicines management education and training to multidisciplinary teams. Develop and review pharmacy policies, guide clinical service design, and provide strategic input on pharmaceutical care. Offer expert advice on contract negotiations, service specifications, and risk management. Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support within designated specialties, ensuring adherence to professional standards. Qualifications include a Master’s in Pharmacy, GPhC registration, and at least 5 years of NHS experience in medicines procurement, governance, and clinical leadership.
