Job Description

Join us as a MRCVS Veterinarian in Northern Ireland, earning £52,970 annually plus a company car or allowance and relocation support.


As a Field Veterinary Officer, you will lead disease control efforts and ensure animal welfare standards. Your key role involves serving as the main liaison for farmers, vets, and industry stakeholders, providing expert guidance to protect public health, trade, and animal welfare.


  • Complete administrative tasks related to animal health and compliance
  • Conduct farm visits and inspections
  • Manage disease control programs for various diseases
  • Ensure compliance with animal welfare and traceability requirements
  • Support trade by certifying animals and products for export
  • Apply veterinary expertise across species like pigs, sheep, and aquatic animals
  • Contribute to policy development on disease surveillance, antimicrobial resistance, and trade

Requirements: MRCVS qualification or eligibility, minimum 1 year (preferably 2) experience with farmed animals or public health, excellent communication skills, and a valid driving license.
