Long Term Locum (Associate Dentist)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced dentists for a *Long-Term Locum* role focused on *urgent care* in Southampton. This position involves working in a *busy NHS urgent care centre*, primarily providing *emergency and stabilisation services* rather than routine treatments.

Clinicians will see *35–45 patients daily* from NHS 111 referrals, walk-ins, and stabilisation cases, requiring adaptability and quick clinical decision-making. The role emphasizes efficiency without compromising care, with performance-based UDA targets and potential overachievement pay.

Applicants must be *GDC registered*, hold a *valid NHS performer number*, and have *experience in general dentistry*, preferably urgent care. Strong communication skills and the ability to work at pace are essential.

Flexible shifts are available during weekdays and weekends, with a competitive day rate and negotiable travel expenses. The practice is an NHS urgent care centre with supportive staff and good transport links.
