This full-time AGACNP position supports a hospitalist team in Ponca City, Oklahoma, with a 7 am to 7 pm, 7on/7off schedule.
The Nurse Practitioner provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up, requiring population-specific competencies. Responsibilities include patient assessments, ordering tests and diagnostics, diagnosing health issues, initiating treatments, and performing procedures such as injections, suturing, and wound care. Educates patients on treatments and medications, reports to supervising physicians and managers, and follows safety protocols. Qualifications include a Master’s from an accredited NP program, Oklahoma NP license, BLS certification, and effective communication skills. The role involves exposure to potential hazards and requires adherence to safety standards.
