This position provides comprehensive healthcare via clinic, home visits, and community outreach, managing patients’ medical needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key duties include assessing health status, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, ordering tests, coordinating follow-up care, maintaining accurate records, and referring patients to specialists.
The role supports vaccination, community health programs, and clinic service coordination, requiring strong cultural sensitivity, communication skills, and clinical competence.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, licensure in Alaska, and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Preferred experience includes rural healthcare and mid-level practice.
Work involves clinical tasks, local travel, and adherence to safety protocols in a healthcare setting. Employment is at-will, with background checks, screenings, and certifications required.
