Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained) – Partnership Track, W-2 or Day Coverage

Job Description

The General Anesthesiologist role in Gastonia, NC, offers full-time, exempt employment with options for partnership or daytime scheduling, primarily at regional hospitals.

Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, administering anesthesia, supervising nurse anesthetists, and monitoring post-operative recovery.

Case variety includes cardiac procedures (CABG, valves, LVADs) and general surgeries (neuro, OB, ortho, ENT, pediatrics, GI).

Requires cardiothoracic fellowship, MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, NC license, and 3+ years’ experience in high-acuity settings.

Skills needed are excellent communication, safety focus, and teamwork.

Schedule involves shared call (1 in 10), minimal nights/weekends, and no night/weekend work.
