Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained) – Partnership Track, W-2 or Day Coverage

Job Description

The General Anesthesiologist position in Gastonia, NC offers a full-time, exempt role with options for 2-year partnership or day-time schedule, no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities include administering general and regional anesthesia, patient evaluations, supervising nurse anesthetists, and providing post-operative care. The role involves a diverse case mix, including cardiac surgeries (e.g., CABG, valves, TAVRs), neuro, OB, ortho, ENT, pediatric, GI, and general surgeries, with approximately 1/7 of cases involving cardiac procedures.

Requirements: MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, at least 3 years of experience, strong regional skills, and NC medical license.

Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent communication, safety focus, teamwork, and organizational skills. Supervision of staff and mentoring interns/residents is included.
