Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained) – Partnership Track, W-2 or Day Coverage

Job Description

The General Anesthesiologist role in Gastonia, NC, is a full-time, exempt position offering a 2-year partnership or W-2 arrangement, with no nights, weekends, or call shifts.

They will provide anesthesia at local hospitals, perform patient evaluations, develop anesthetic plans, and supervise nurse anesthetists, ensuring safe and effective care.

Case types include cardiac (CABG, valves, TAVRs, LVADs), neuro, OB, ortho, ENT, peds, GI, endo, and general surgeries.

Requirements include an MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, NC license, and at least 3 years of experience.

Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety commitment are essential.

Supervisory responsibilities involve mentoring staff, with a typical schedule Monday-Friday and approximately 2-3 call shifts per month.
