Job Description
Seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with cardiac training or TEE experience for multiple hospital and surgery center locations in Hickory, NC.
Provide anesthesia for various outpatient and inpatient procedures, including cardiac cases like CABGs and valves, with a busy TAVR program.
Conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor during and post-procedure to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
Supervise and mentor nurse anesthetists, interns, residents, and fellows.
Perform procedures such as venous/arterial punctures, airway management, and post-op care.
Require MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, NC medical license, and 3+ years of high-acuity experience. Strong regional skills preferred.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus are essential. Work involves frequent patient contact in a fast-paced environment. Employment offers potential partnership opportunity.
