Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained Preferred)

Job Description

Seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with cardiac training or TEE experience for hospital and surgery center coverage in Hickory, NC.

Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing anesthesia plans, administering general and regional anesthesia, monitoring during procedures, and overseeing post-operative recovery.

The role involves working with cardiac cases (e.g., CABGs, valves, TAVR program), supervising nurse anesthetists, and mentoring trainees.

Requirements include MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, NC license, 3+ years of high-acuity experience, strong regional skills, and excellent communication.

Work involves frequent patient interaction in a potentially stressful environment. EOE.
