Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for patients starting from childhood.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges related to diagnosis and life situations.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapies.
Offer crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
Participate in team conferences, collaborate with therapy team members, and develop tailored therapy programs.
Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, interactions, and interventions.
Educate patients and families on adaptation strategies related to health conditions and treatments.
Maintain knowledge of community resources, provide consultative support to healthcare teams, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with documentation standards.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa. This position is in-person.
