Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients, including children and adults.
Deliver individual, family, and marital therapies, crisis intervention, and emergency services as needed. Collaborate with team members, community resources, and agencies to support patient care. Maintain detailed records, documentation, and confidentiality per standards. Offer education to patients and families on coping strategies related to diagnosis, treatment, and life changes. Participate in staff meetings and case consultations to optimize therapy outcomes. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field, and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa. This is an in-person position.
