Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide mental health services for patients starting from childhood.
Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Collaborate with team members and community agencies to optimize patient care. Maintain detailed records, ensure confidentiality, and document assessments and interventions per guidelines. Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and adaptation strategies. Participate in staff meetings and case conferences to coordinate care. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications: Master’s in Behavioral Science or related field, and licensure (LMHC, LMSW, etc.) in Iowa.
