Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges related to diagnoses and life situations. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Participate in staff meetings, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop evaluation and therapy plans. Maintain detailed case records and documentation compliant with organizational standards. Educate patients and families on coping strategies and adaptation to health conditions. Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members. Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and organizational record-keeping requirements. Some travel may be required. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field; LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW licensure in Iowa.
