Job Description
Seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) or student awaiting certification to provide personalized music therapy to children, teens, and young adults with disabilities in Kalamazoo County and surrounding areas.
Plan, conduct, and document individual therapy sessions aimed at improving social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress reviews using the ICF framework.
Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to align therapy goals with individual plans.
Adapt sessions for various settings, including home and community environments.
Qualifications include a Music Therapy degree, MT-BC certification or eligibility, reliable transportation, and a compassionate attitude. New graduates are welcome with training provided.
