This telepsychiatry role requires current CA licensure and offers remote, contract-based work with no in-person component.

It involves providing outpatient care to county patients with severe mental illness, primarily during weekday hours (8 AM–5 PM), with no evenings or weekends. The position is part-time (24 hrs/wk) and pays $249,000–$262,000 annually.

Applicants must be board certified or eligible, hold a CA MD/DO license, have a CA DEA, and experience with county mental health populations. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus. Candidates must be willing to prescribe Schedule II medications and have no malpractice history.

Work is entirely remote, with a dedicated support team and secure platform. This is a permanent independent contractor (1099) position aimed at qualified psychiatrists seeking ongoing county outpatient work within the US.
