Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

The APRN will provide comprehensive clinical services in collaboration with supervising physicians, including diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment for in-patients and out-patients in both clinic and hospital settings.

Within the cardiology ambulatory setting, the APRN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage cardiovascular care and may work with outpatient testing groups such as ECHO and stress testing. In the inpatient setting, they oversee the care of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

The role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical competency, sound judgment, professionalism, and effective communication. The APRN is responsible for ensuring safe, quality care, timely documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Experience: 3+ years as an APRN preferred

License/Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA (required)
