The Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist role is a full-time, exempt position based in Greenville, NC, offering potential partnership and a negotiable salary with signing bonus.
Provides anesthetic care for a wide range of cardiac surgeries, excluding transplants, in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a dedicated Heart Institute. Performs patient evaluations, administers general and regional anesthesia, and monitors post-operative recovery. Supervises anesthesia staff, mentors residents and fellows, and collaborates with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, cardiothoracic fellowship in progress, and 3+ years of high-acuity experience.
