Seeking a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist for a full-time, exempt role in Greenville, NC, with potential partnership and a signing bonus.
Provide anesthesia for complex cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valves, TAVRs, and ECMO, excluding transplants. Conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and oversee perioperative care. Supervise and collaborate with anesthesia staff and trainees, ensuring safe, patient-centered care. Perform procedures such as arterial/venous punctures, airway management, and post-op monitoring. Requires MD/DO, board certification/eligibility in anesthesiology, cardiothoracic fellowship in progress, NC license, and 3+ years of high-acuity experience. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and thrive in a team environment. The role involves call duties, with a schedule Monday-Friday and some weekends.
