Job Description
The CSAC provides individual and group therapy within a residential substance abuse treatment program, supervised by the Lead Counselor.
Responsibilities include assessing clients, developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating care with families and other professionals.
They supervise client activities, ensure compliance with regulations, and participate in program development and quality improvement efforts.
Additional duties involve crisis intervention, case management, staff training, and facilitating aftercare planning.
Ideal candidates have certified substance abuse counseling credentials, 3-5 years of experience, and knowledge of trauma-informed care and clinical documentation.
