Job Description
The CSAC is a full-time therapeutic counselor in a residential substance abuse program, supervised by the Lead Counselor.
Provides individual and group therapy, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, and family therapy coordination.
Supervises resident assessments, monitors participation, and ensures proper documentation and quality assurance.
Collaborates with team members, families, and external agencies to develop and adjust treatment plans.
Conducts client evaluations, modifies treatment strategies, and participates in staff meetings and program development.
Trains and supervises interns and staff, assesses substance dependency, and administers drug screenings.
Requires a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with 3-5 years of experience, knowledge of trauma and clinical documentation, and strong communication skills.
