Job Description

The Charge Nurse supervises nursing care, ensuring quality delivery according to physician orders and resident care plans.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate within the scope of practice per state regulations

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Complete accurate and timely documentation

Supervise, evaluate, and manage staff according to policy

Monitor resident conditions, report abnormalities, injuries, or safety concerns

Oversee shift operations and staffing

Attend required training and follow infection control practices

Qualifications include a nursing degree, current license, and CPR certification recommended.
