Job Description

The Child and Family Therapist provides direct, trauma-informed mental health services to children and families affected by abuse, trauma, and ACEs.
Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy, comprehensive assessments, parenting education, and supervision of interns.
They develop client-centered, culturally competent treatment plans, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with community partners.
Qualifications include licensure as a social worker, counselor, or psychologist, with experience in trauma-focused therapy and knowledge of child development, abuse dynamics, and family systems.
The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently.
Additional requirements involve background checks, some travel, and relocation to Owosso, MI.
