The Child and Family Therapist provides direct, trauma-informed mental health services to children who are victims of abuse, trauma, and ACEs, along with their families.
Responsibilities include individual and family therapy, group programs, comprehensive assessments, parenting education, and supervision of interns.
They develop client-centered, culturally competent, evidence-based interventions, ensuring data integrity and service linkage.
The role involves collaboration with community partners, participation in trainings, and representation of the agency.
Qualifications include licensure (LCSW, LPC, Psychologist), 4+ years of experience, training in TF-CBT, and knowledge of trauma dynamics.
Skills include strong communication, cultural sensitivity, organizational ability, and proficiency with computer tools.
