Job Description
Seeking a contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16-24 hours/week, onsite) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up for children and adolescents in a behavioral health program in Riverside, CA.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for youth with diverse symptoms.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, offering education on side effects.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, families, and external providers as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain clinical documentation per agency and regulatory standards using electronic health records.
- Provide clinical leadership, ensure compliance with policies, and cover for absent psychiatrists.
Qualifications include a valid California medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience treating youth. Bilingual skills and knowledge of community clinic practices are desirable. Compensation ranges from $210-$230/hour, with flexible scheduling.
