Job Description
Seeking a part-time, contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16-24 hours/week, in-person) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up for children and adolescents in Riverside, CA.
Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for youth with diverse mental health needs.
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, offering education on side effects.
Collaborate with therapists, case managers, families, and community partners within a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain timely clinical documentation per regulatory standards.
Work independently within agency and legal guidelines, demonstrating leadership and cultural competence.
Requirements include a valid CA medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience with diverse youth populations. Bilingual skills are a plus.
