Job Description

Seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit) fluent in Russian to provide outpatient substance use and mental health services in Brooklyn, NY.

  • Provide assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to adults with diverse issues, including mental illness, homelessness, justice involvement, and unemployment.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, assist with intake, and facilitate group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct outreach, coordinate services with other agencies, and develop recovery-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize screening tools for depression, trauma, and substance use, ensuring culturally competent care.

    • Qualifications include Russian language proficiency, relevant licensure (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP, MSW-LP), and 2+ years of OMH/OASAS experience preferred.
