Job Description
The Part-Time Dermatologist provides comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care, including diagnosis, treatment, and procedural services for diverse patients, with a focus on underserved populations.
Perform evaluations, diagnose conditions like acne, eczema, skin cancers, and autoimmune disorders, and conduct skin exams and screenings.Carry out procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions, and prescribe medications following clinical guidelines.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, educate patients on skin health, and document all encounters accurately in EMR systems.Collaborate with care teams, supervise staff, and participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives.Qualifications include MD or DO from an accredited school, board certification or eligibility in Dermatology, active medical license, and relevant experience, especially in underserved settings.
The role requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some travel may be necessary.
Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $200,000 annually, with benefits such as health insurance, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and paid time off. The position emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and adheres to regulatory standards.
