Job Description

The Part-Time Dermatologist provides comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care, including diagnosis, treatment, and procedural services for diverse patients, with a focus on underserved populations.


  • Perform evaluations, diagnose conditions like acne, eczema, skin cancers, and autoimmune disorders, and conduct skin exams and screenings.

  • Carry out procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions, and prescribe medications following clinical guidelines.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, educate patients on skin health, and document all encounters accurately in EMR systems.

  • Collaborate with care teams, supervise staff, and participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives.

  • Qualifications include MD or DO from an accredited school, board certification or eligibility in Dermatology, active medical license, and relevant experience, especially in underserved settings.

  • The role requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some travel may be necessary.

  • Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $200,000 annually, with benefits such as health insurance, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and paid time off. The position emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and adheres to regulatory standards.
