Seeking a Director of Social Services for a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Placerville, CA, providing acute care for adults with mental illness.
Lead and manage the Social Services Department, overseeing staff, casework, and discharge planning. Coordinate admissions/discharges, collaborate with hospitals and community agencies, and ensure compliance with regulations. Develop policies, supervise staff recruitment, and manage departmental budgets. Promote quality care through QA/QI programs and staff training. Maintain effective communication within the facility and with external partners. Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work, LCSW/LMFT/LPCC license, supervisory experience, and knowledge of mental health systems. Requires physical ability to perform job duties, valid driver’s license, and certifications in CPR, CPI, and First Aid.
