Emergency Medicine Physician

Job Description

Seeking Board Certified or Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for on-site coverage at a busy, 24/7 Emergency Department in Clarksburg, WV.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality emergency care, rapid evaluation, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment, and managing medical, traumatic, and psychiatric emergencies. Physicians perform procedures within scope, document encounters, participate in hand-offs, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Schedule involves day, evening, and overnight shifts (8–12 hours), with one physician per shift.

Qualifications: MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, active U.S. medical license, certifications in ACLS, BLS, DEA registration, and fluency in English.
