Job Description

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting, emphasizing patient-centered, evidence-based treatment for all ages.


  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up on acute and chronic conditions.
  • Deliver preventive services, screenings, immunizations, and women’s health care.
  • Manage chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, order tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with specialists.
  • Document encounters in EMR, participate in quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Supervise clinical staff, support team-based care, and participate in on-call coverage.
  • Maintain licensure, certifications, and adhere to privacy laws.

    • Qualifications include MD/DO, residency completion, board certification, active licensure, and preferred outpatient experience, especially in underserved settings. Strong clinical judgment, communication, cultural competence, and EMR proficiency are essential.
