Job Description

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care across all ages in an outpatient setting, emphasizing patient-centered, evidence-based practices aligned with FQHC standards and HRSA guidelines.

  • Deliver direct care, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Perform preventive services such as exams, immunizations, screenings, and women’s health education.
  • Manage chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, order diagnostics, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, participate in quality improvement, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Qualifications include MD/DO, residency completion, board certification or eligibility, licensure, DEA, and BLS certification.
  • Preferred experience in outpatient, underserved settings, with strong clinical judgment, cultural competence, and EMR proficiency.
  • Work involves clinical duties, occasional travel, and physical activity, with a competitive salary ($200K-$250K), comprehensive benefits, CME, and loan repayment assistance.
