Position Summary:
Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual capable of working under pressure and passionate about helping others. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments, and performing procedures such as laceration repairs and orthopedic care. Communicate test results and treatment plans with patients and document findings in patient charts within 24-48 hours. Provide medical orders, supervision, and consultation, including telecommunication support for emergencies and referrals. Manage special projects and events as assigned; position is safety-sensitive. Qualifications include a medical, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution; current licensure and certification (board-certified for NP), DEA, and BLS required. Preferred one year of experience; skills in medical coding, billing, regulatory compliance, and proficiency with PC applications are essential.
