Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care across all life stages, focusing on wellness, illness prevention, and management of minor illnesses and stable chronic conditions.

Conducts patient exams, health education, and prenatal care in ambulatory settings.

Performs assessments, initiates treatments, and collaborates with physicians for complex cases.

Provides community-based education and participates in quality improvement and epidemiological projects.

Maintains documentation, supports ongoing education, and serves as a preceptor for students.

Qualifications: Master’s in nursing, MN RN license, board certification, and community health focus.
