Job Description
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides consultation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions under supervision.
Examines patients, records history, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and develops care plans. Performs therapeutic procedures, prescribes medications within regulations, and offers health education, especially on STD prevention. Maintains accurate medical charts, supervises staff, and participates in quality assurance and team meetings. Responsible for nursing services, supporting up to 20 patients daily, and prescreening cases for medical director review. Adheres to professional and organizational policies, maintains licensure, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills. Requires current California license, NP certification, DEA, BLS, and relevant experience. Works Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays, across multiple clinic locations; compensation ranges from $65-$80/hour.
