Job Description

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides consultation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions under supervision.

  • Examines patients, records history, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and develops care plans.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures, prescribes medications within regulations, and offers health education, especially on STD prevention.
  • Maintains accurate medical charts, supervises staff, and participates in quality assurance and team meetings.
  • Responsible for nursing services, supporting up to 20 patients daily, and prescreening cases for medical director review.
  • Adheres to professional and organizational policies, maintains licensure, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Requires current California license, NP certification, DEA, BLS, and relevant experience.
  • Works Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays, across multiple clinic locations; compensation ranges from $65-$80/hour.
